Christy Swaid is a six-time jet ski world champion, keynote speaker, life coach and Guinness World Record holder, and the founder of Checkered Flag Living, a movement built around intentional living, wellness and resilience.
Her story started on the water. Christy won six jet ski world championships, the first at 19, and worked as a stuntwoman on Baywatch and in feature films. In 2024, at 53, she became the oldest woman to complete a backward somersault on a personal watercraft, a Guinness World Record she earned while working through multiple injuries.
Today, as a Key Opinion Leader, she speaks to and coaches Millennials, Gen Z and the leaders who work with them on living with more purpose, more grace and a little more adventure. She has led high-profile wellness initiatives, mentored people one-on-one, and brought her message to corporate, leadership and student audiences. Her philosophy is simple: live fully, prioritize wellness, and celebrate every win, big or small.
Off the stage, you will find her with a good book, a strong cup of coffee, or on a long walk with the people she loves most.
